Our commitment

We want anyone who works with us to feel able to speak up about wrongdoing. Genuine concerns are taken seriously, and nobody will be treated unfavourably for raising one in good faith.

What to report

  • Fraud, financial misconduct, bribery or corruption.
  • Modern slavery, worker exploitation or serious health and safety risks.
  • Deliberate failures in tax, payroll, employment law or data protection.
  • Criminal activity or breaches of legal obligations.
  • Attempts to cover up any of the above.

Complaints about your own employment terms should normally go through the grievance procedure instead.

How to raise a concern

Raise your concern with our Head of Payroll & Compliance, in person or in writing. If the concern involves that person, raise it with our Sales Director or another director. You do not need proof, only a reasonable belief that something is wrong. Anonymous reports are accepted and investigated where there is enough information.

Confidentiality and protection

We protect the identity of anyone raising a concern as far as we can. Victimising a whistleblower is a disciplinary matter.

Investigation

Concerns are investigated proportionately. Where wrongdoing is found, we take appropriate action, which may include reporting to the relevant authority.

External reporting

You can also report to a prescribed person, such as HMRC or the Information Commissioner's Office. The charity Protect offers free, confidential advice on whistleblowing.
